Kenya passed the Tracking Dog Urban test at Elk Grove Regional Park to start off the new year with a new title! She was just starting to show signs of being in season, so we had to have the last track. The heavy early morning fog had burned off by then, leaving it cool but sunny, with no wind. She started great and easily made the first turn and crossed a dirt baseball diamond. She then worked out some cross-tracks and showed loss at the second turn, but had trouble picking up the new leg in short, dry grass. After working it quite a bit, she finally found the next leg, and shortly thereafter indicated the intermediate article! After that, she never wavered off the track, easily making the next two turns and downing at the final glove!
