Elsa is my 5th Terv, and the most fun one yet! She loves to work, and is very fast! My first homebred, I kept her as she was the one that was the most bonded to me. I love the relationship that I have with her! Her call name is an anagram of the first/last letters of her registered name – S L E A. Us old-timers will remember that Elsa was also the lioness in the “Born Free” and “Living Free” movies/books, which works with my kennel name of Safari.

11/20/25 – Elsa completed the obedience Versatility title! All legs were 1st places!
11/07-11/09/25 – Elsa finished her Master Jumpers Bronze on Friday, got a TQ on Saturday, and finished her T2B2 title on Sunday (all legs but one were 1st places)! The QQ on Saturday also was the final qualification needed to enter the 2026 AKC Agility Nationals!
10/26/25 – Elsa finished her Master Buried and over-all Master Scent Work titles with her 2nd High In Trial Master Dog award!. She got 2nd place in Containers, Interior, and Exterior – I was being a bit more careful in Buried because I wanted to make sure that she got that one!
9/27 & 9/28/25 – Elsa was High In Trial both days at Bonanza KC – on Saturday with a 192 from Utility B and on Sunday with a 194 from Open B (only lost 2.5 pts in Utility but couldn’t find the 2nd article buried in a long patch of grass – first time she’s missed an article all year)!
9/20/25 – Elsa finished her Utility Dog Excellent title with a 4th place in Utility! She earned the last 7 legs in just 9 shows!
9/12/25 – Elsa earned 2 Detective legs and was HIT Master Scent Work for Trial 2 at the SJDTC trial in Woodland! Finished her Master Container Elite title with a 1st place!
6/04/25 – 2025 ABTC National Specialty – Elsa was High Combined in obedience with a 1st place in Utility B and 4th in Open B! She also got 1st in Versatility with a 195.5! Also had several 1st places each in agility and scent work along with many other placings! Qualified in all 3 Rally classes for her first Master and RAE legs!
5/18/25 – Elsa finished her USDAA Gamblers Champion-Bronze title at Bay Team!
10/19/24 – Elsa finished the Master Excellent Jumpers title at the Harvest Moon trials. All legs but the last one were 1st places – she was only .16 second in 2nd for the final leg!
06/01 & 06/02/24 – Elsa finished her Master FAST Bronze and Master Agility Excellent titles at Del Monte KC!
10/20-22/23 – We did 3 days of agility and scent work at the Harvest Moon Classic in Santa Rosa. Elsa finished her Advanced Buried title on Friday, which also finished the overall SW Advanced title! She got an insurance leg on Sunday – in the rain, with one of the hot boxes sitting in a large puddle of water! She qualified with placings in all 4 runs of Advanced Handler Discrimination to earn that title all in one weekend! She finished up the weekend with a 1st place in Exc Containers and a 1st in JWW (2nd-fastest time over all – a 16″ BC was slightly faster, but Elsa’s jumping 24″)! She also had a first place in FAST and T2B, and a 2nd in Std on various days over the weekend!
9/23/23 – At the SF Bay Weim trial in Elk Grove, Elsa finished the Excellent Jumpers w/Weaves title, which also completed the Versatile Companion Dog Level 3 title! She is my 4th VCD3 Terv!
9/3/23 – Elsa finished her Utility Dog title in 3 straight shows (after 3 warm up runs) with a score of 187.5! Second leg was a 189.5.
8/26/23 – Elsa finished the USDAA Gamblers Champion title (5 additional legs) in just 3 shows after finishing the Master title!
8/5/23 – Elsa completed the Rally Excellent title in two back-to-back weekends (3 straight shows). Best score was a 95.
7/23/23 – Elsa finished the Master Excellent FAST title (10 legs) at Lost Coast KC with a perfect score of 80! All but the first two legs (4th/2nd) were 1st places!
6/21/23 – Elsa was Terv HIT at the RBTF Obedience trial for her first leg in Utility A!
5/20/23 – Elsa finished the USDAA Gamblers Master title on Saturday, and then got a pairs leg on Sunday to finish the overall Agility Dog title!
4/28/23 – Finished her Scent Work Handler Discrimination Novice title! All legs were 1st places!/
3/29/23 – Elsa was Terv HIT at the RBTF Obedience trial with a score of 191 out of Open B!
1/21/23 – Elsa finished her CDX with placements on all legs! Best score was a 194.5.
1/1/23 – Finished SCA and SEA on New Year’s Day! Had the fastest run time of a large class in Exterior but I got faulted for dropping food (oops)!
11/5-6/22 – Finished the Novice Buried SW title, which finished the overall Scent Work Novice title. All legs but 2 buried were placements of 1-3! Finished her SW Interior Adv title on Sunday!
10/15/22 – Elsa finished her Scent Work Containers, Interior, and Exterior titles with a High in Trial, and added a 1st in HD for High Combined Novice!
8/20/22 – Elsa finished her Open Agility Jumpers title with all 1st places!
6/5/22 – Elsa finished her Agility Excellent and Excellent FAST titles with all 1st places!
5/29/22 – Elsa finished her Novice Agility Jumper title with all 1st places!
5/12/22 – Elsa finished her Rally Advanced title at the ABTC Specialty, after a week of tracking, agility, scent work, and conformation showing! Passed the Tracking Dog Urban test on Sunday, won the 24″ Time to Beat regular class on Monday, and got two 1sts and a 2nd at her first scent work trial! The next day, she got her first Exc Std leg in agility with a 1st place, and two 2nd’s and a 3rd in scent work!
5/01/22 – Elsa completed her Companion Dog title with placements of 1st, 2nd (193 – her best score) and 3rd.
3/26-27/22 – Elsa finished her Open Agility and Open FAST titles with all 1st places!
2/27/22 – Elsa earned her Tracking Dog Excellent title at PAFTA’s test.
1/9/22 – Elsa earned her Tracking Dog Urban title at Sacramento DTC’s test.
